An email QR Code opens the default mail app on the phone with the recipient already filled in and, if you want, the subject too. It is a direct way to receive enquiries, questions or quote requests without anyone having to type your address manually.

Does it work with any email app?
Yes. The code uses the mailto standard, recognized by whichever mail app is set as default on the phone, whether Gmail, Outlook or another.
Can I set the message body as well as the subject?
For now the generator fills in the recipient and the subject. The message body is left blank for the person to write freely.
How is this different from a vCard QR Code?
A vCard saves your details as a contact in the phonebook, while an email QR Code opens a new message addressed to you directly.
